Welcome

In January the London Borough of Newham was selected as one of eight possible locations for a large casino in Britain. The Mayor of Newham has asked us, the Advisory Commission on the Newham Casino, to consider both the benefits and disadvantages of licensing a large casino in Newham. This will help him decide whether a large casino is right for the borough.

Both of the hearings have now been held. You can see a full list of those who presented evidence as well as the presentations received on the commission process information page.
